Silpo Charmcube

UX, craft, illustration

Silpo — one of the largest supermarket chains in Ukraine, asked us to improve the user experience for children in their stores. Our research found that one of the most challenging and unpleasant stages of shopping for parents with children is waiting in lines in the departments of meat, fish, cheese and deli. It is difficult for children to wait in line, and after a while, they either get upset and nervous or even start crying, run away, and get lost somewhere among the shelves.

Our solution is a set of Charmcubes located next to each queue. 5 Charmcubes interact with hearing, sight, smell and touch. In the form of a game, they introduce children to products' origin, structure, and properties and keep them close to their parents.

3

4

5

Also, something you may guess by the smell.
