KYIV CORNER GIFT BOXES

packaging, photography

Kyiv Corner is a store that promotes and distributes clothing and souvenirs with the unofficial open-source logo of Kyiv. They asked our team to create a packaging design for their gift boxes in three sizes — small, medium and large. Our team saw the potential for creating modular packaging in this project because gift boxes have the same content and differ from each other only in the number of items.

Visually, we decided to implement the idea of modularity with the help of photos of the facades of Kyiv houses with balconies. Balconies are part of Kyiv's identity. The fact is that most Kyivites do not consider it necessary to preserve the original appearance of the facades of their homes. They consider balconies an extension of their apartments, so they see nothing wrong with adapting them to their needs. Thus, balconies-offices, balconies-pantries, balconies-gardens, and many other bizarre combinations are widespread in Kyiv.

Each gift box features several balconies. The modular design lets you make your own facade of a Kyiv house and keep a part of the Kyiv spirit at home even after unpacking a gift box.

We also created an Instagram mask to find out "what kind of balcony are you today"?
